Pedagogical Interests

I'm interested in promoting sense of belonging amongst students within my class/lab room and within the disciplines that I teach (we need more diversity!). I'm also always looking for great activities to promote active learning and am experimenting with interteaching strategies and facilitating as much field experience as possible for my students. Finally, I have a passion for developing open education resources and promoting open pedagogy within the environmental geosciences.

A new area (for me) that I am looking for colleagues to help me develop is inquiry-based learning.
